All that is needed is to find another person/company to take over the upkeep and maintenance of the existing web site and handle any mailing list issues.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">As far as Facebook goes I wouldn't consider it to be a very good solution aside from the privacy concerns. A FB group can be either public or private but not both. RE the PATH website, I wonder if beefing up and digging into Facebook’s capability to be a place to manage the club’s online presence would be a better way to go vs. a dedicated website. I am a member of a paddling club that does it that way. I am not Mr. Facebook so I don’t have a feel for what is possible. I think it is a matter of taking a “zero baseline” starting point and building up what is needed vs. replacing what we had/have. An objective look might arrive at something other than a website as an acceptable solution. Is the PATH-list email separate from the website?
