Searching for a monument

This area was located at the base of a steep +/- 250 yd. long slope leading down to a stream. Boundary survey documents are used to identify & locate a monument relative to it's reference "Witness Trees". The blazes had been painted by a USFS employee prior to our visit. However, that person was not locating monuments, moly painting.
