Ron,Thanks for the report(shown below in attachment).YES !!Jerry Kyle should be proud of his trail work south of Dry Run.Jerry & his crew changed one of the worst rocks & roots section I've ever seen, into a nice walk in the woods overlooking Dry Run. We've looked at that area for a few years trying to figure how to fix it up.This little .7 mile hike from I-81 north to VA-617 has become a "sweet spot", thanks to the work of many volunteers & trail maintainers.Zoom in on that picture of the long picnic table @ Knot Maul shelter & it looks like a bear claw mark on the top broken part.Notice the claw marks going down the broken edge. Ron, did you see "Girl Scout Troup 180, 2021" tagged with a sharppie pen, on the shelter?JimSent from my Galaxy Tab®
