[Path-list] Section 8 trail work

Today Rich & I worked on section 8 (SR42 to Lynn Camp).  We:
Knocked down the Knot Maul privy cone & picked up trash.
repaired steps in 2 places
We spent most of the day working on the blue trail out from Knot Maul. We added several water bars & water diversion channels. At the creek we felled a tree hikers had to duck under, built a rock bridge to channel water from a spring, added a big rock path through what was a slimy mud slick, and created some deep dipping pools. Below are some before & after photos.
Last month Rich sidehilled the trail from south of SR42 up to the pasture in section 7.
We saw 19 north bound hikers today, split evenly between males & females. Many were fresh out of trail days.
