[PATH-list] August work weekend - Aug 18-20, 2023: A sea of yellow shirts!

PATHers,

It was a sea of blaze-yellow PATH shirts at this past work weekend in 
Sugar Grove!

By my count, we had _*32 volunteers*_ during some part of the 3-day work 
weekend, and we _*worked 272 hours*_ (traveled 164 hours)!!!  We had _*2 
volunteers*_ - one new who received her PATH work patch and one who has 
been with us for several work weekends.  We awarded _*two PATH 70-mile 
club patches*_.

*Many, many thanks* to all who were able to PATH with us - and 
especially to Chris Bracknell for organizing the work team projects and 
to Alan Lawrence and his dinner team for the very delicious Italian meal 
on Saturday evening.

I am still collecting photos to post to Facebook and Google Drive, and 
will let you know when the folder is complete.  I am attaching three of 
my photos...

September is shaping up to be another great, work-filled weekend as we 
will be finishing the bridge repair project on the middle fork of the 
Holston River, beginning prep work on the materials for the Hunting Camp 
Creek bridge repair, and as always checking our sections.

We will be base-camping at the *Konnarock Work Center at Sugar Grove, VA 
for the September 15-17* weekend.  Please join us!
