Privies-some clubs are still not working on them, but we are ok if we take care. Carpooling-some clubs are not doing this yet, but most on the call felt it was up to the individuals. Work groups-most of the concern was about larger groups. A question came up about liability if you haven't reported a hike to be work related. Josh felt that if a hiker was part of a club, it could be assumed that they were working. Sounds right to me. Sawyer registration runs out on Oct. 1. If you want to recertify, you should do it before then or you will have to do the 2 day workshop. ATC is trying to schedule more classes. Finally there was a discussion of general liability for clubs and officers. PATC uses Alliant which specializes in insuring non-profits and in non-profit trail clubs. Betsy
